Matthew Davis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in sales, marketing, and customer service. Matthew currently serves as the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service at Z1 Motorsports, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bestop, Inc. as the Director of Sales and Service from November 2021 to November 2022, and also as the Dealer Sales Manager from July 2020 to December 2021.
From 2016 to 2020, Matthew worked at Genuine Parts Company as a District Sales Manager for Tools and Equipment. In this role, they collaborated with NAPA Auto Parts store owners, managed product demos, handled inventory management, and resolved warranty and availability concerns. Matthew achieved outstanding sales results and received recognition as the District Sales Manager of the year for the Mountain Division and the NAPA Spokane Distribution center in 2017.
Matthew also has experience in marketing and communications. Matthew served as the Director of Marketing at Premier Performance Products from October 2014 to January 2017, overseeing marketing efforts and coordinating activities across departments. Before that, they worked as an Associate Editor at The Daily Derbi, Utah's largest auto blog, from February 2012 to December 2016. During this time, they honed their automotive journalism skills and contributed to the publication.
In addition, Matthew has had volunteer and entrepreneurial experiences. Matthew volunteered at LeMay: America's Car Museum from April 2012 to December 2013, assisting guests and supporting events. Matthew also founded Mountain High Motoring, a website for automotive enthusiasts, from April 2010 to April 2013.
Prior to their current career trajectory, Matthew gained experience in marketing and account management as a Marketing Specialist/Account Manager at Home Front Mortgage from April 2012 to November 2012. Matthew also served as a Social Media Marketing Coordinator at C-A-L Ranch Stores from August 2011 to April 2012, where they managed digital marketing initiatives, online reputation, and implemented e-commerce efforts.
Matthew Davis completed their high school education at Madison Senior High School from 2001 to 2004. Matthew obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on General Studies during this time. Subsequently, Matthew enrolled at Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2004 to 2011. While studying there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree and majored in Communications, Automotive Technology, and Business Management.
