Steven Brown

Steven Brown has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Steven is currently the Director of Software & Analytics at Zafrens, a lifesciences products company specializing in cellular analysis and understanding genetic code. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Director of Software and Principal Scientist at 1859 Inc. Steven also held roles at Plexium as the Associate Director of Informatics and Senior Scientist - Systems Integration. Earlier in their career, Steven worked as a Consultant at SDB Consulting and DM Research, and as an Analyst at Tavistock Life Sciences.

Steven Brown's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000 to 2003. Steven then pursued their PhD in Chemical Biology at Scripps Research from 2004 to 2010. Following this, from 2013 to 2019, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC San Diego, specializing in Microbiology & Physiology.
