Sean Kelley

Sean Kelley is an accomplished art professional with extensive experience in business development and curatorial roles. Currently serving as the Art Business Development specialist at Zahner/Metalabs since September 2015, Sean previously founded and directed the City Arts Project from February 2010 to December 2014. Additionally, Sean held the position of Curator of Art at the Kansas City Public Library from March 2009 to March 2011, focusing on developing exhibitions and collections within the library system. As a co-founder and director of Grand Arts from January 1994 to January 2004, Sean contributed significantly to supporting contemporary artists through innovative funding approaches. The journey began with the establishment of the Sean Kelley Gallery, which operated from January 1986 to January 1995 before transitioning into Grand Arts. Sean Kelley graduated from Rockhurst University between 1976 and 1979.
