Nuno Carapeto

Nuno Carapeto's work experience begins in 2005 as an Apprentice at Oy Dorego Ab, Finland, where they developed embedded systems integrating different mobile technologies. Nuno then worked as a Researcher at PTIN/IT, where they contributed to the EuQoS Project, focusing on end-to-end quality of service over heterogeneous networks. In 2008, they joined Portugal Telecom Inovação S.A. as an Engineer and stayed there for ten years, until 2018. During this time, their role involved engineering work. In 2018, they joined Mindera as a Senior Software Developer and worked there for a year before moving to CurrencyFair in 2019, where they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer. Nuno's most recent position is as the Lead Software Engineer at Zai, starting in 2022.

Nuno Carapeto completed a PhD in Mobility/Context from the Universidade de Coimbra, starting in 2007 and finishing in 2010. Prior to their PhD studies, they attended the same university from 1999 to 2005, though the degree and field of study during this period are not specified.
