Vian A Taher

Vian A Taher has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. From 1997 to 1999, they worked as a Translator for the Government of KRG. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as a Translator & Personnel Controller for FAO. In 2006, they joined Asiacell and worked their way up from Training Manager to eventually becoming the Human Resources Director, responsible for handling various HR functions and developing business strategies. In 2015, they moved to ASK Group of Companies as the Head of HR Department. Finally, in 2017, they joined Zain Iraq first as the Head of HR Department/ Kurdistan, then as the Head of HR Operation Department, and finally as the Head of HR Kurdistan and Arab North.

Vian A Taher completed a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Development at The University of Salford from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1991, Vian earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, General from Baghdad University/ College of Arts. Additionally, Vian attended Al-Hariri Preparatory School for Girls from 1983 to 1986. Vian has also obtained several certifications, including "Finding Your Time Management Style" from LinkedIn in 2022, and various certifications related to AI and Microsoft in 2023.
