Ali Al Zahid is the current CEO of Zain Iraq at Zain. Ali was previously a partner and management consultant at Jean Marc Bellmann from August 2009 to January 2015. During their time as a consultant, Ali Al Zahid successfully completed major projects with high success levels, managed and led business development, and helped grow the organization. Some of the initiatives they completed during their consulting projects include developing and implementing regional distribution models, franchise programs for multinational telecom operators, company-wide strategy development and implementation, setting up and managing Program Management Offices, Balance Scorecard Model implementation, sales channel restructuring and channel management for FMCG operations, retail re-branding and customer experience focus store implementation, start-up management and implementation, customer care enhancement and outsourcing management, brand experience development, operational due diligence, company organizational restructuring, budgeting and financial planning (including P&L, forecasts and margin analysis). Prior to their work as a management consultant, Ali Al Zahid worked at Proworkz International FZE from December 2006 to August 2009.
Ali Al Zahid has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from TRIUM Global Executive MBA, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Master’s Degree from HEC Paris, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from NYU Stern School of Business. Ali also has a Master in Management and Communication from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems.
Ali Al Zahid reports to Bader Nasser Al-Kharafi, Group CEO. They are on a team with Nawaf Algharabally - CTO, Abdul Ghaffar Setareh - Chief Risk Officer, and Kamil Hilali - CSO.
