Beatriz Soares

Beatriz Soares is an experienced professional with a strong background in credit analysis, ESG risk assessment, and business strategy development. Currently serving as an Associate at ZAIS Group since June 2020, Beatriz focuses on credit analysis of leveraged loans and corporate issuers while conducting ESG risk analysis and issuer-level research. Previous roles include working as an ESG and New Products Analyst and Responsible Investment Analyst at the Polsky Center at the University of Chicago, where due diligence on novel technologies was performed to inform commercialization and investment decisions. Beatriz's additional experience encompasses managing I-Corps projects, supporting biotech research, and developing business strategies for local enterprises. Beatriz holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Engineering and Economics from the University of Chicago and briefly studied Bioprocess Engineering at Universidade Federal do Paraná.
