Babak Mohtachemi

Babak Mohtachemi is an experienced leader in Governance, Risk, and Compliance, currently serving as the Head of Governance, Risk & IT Compliance at Zalando Payments GmbH since February 2024, following a role as Interim Head of Risk & Compliance at the same company. Prior to Zalando, Babak held the position of Global Head of Corporate GRC & Finance PMO at OneFootball, where a global transformation of Governance, Risk, and Compliance was led. Previously, a significant tenure at Delivery Hero SE as Global Senior Director involved managing a large GRC & PMO team, and building a GRC organization to support IPO initiatives. Earlier career highlights include leadership roles at BOMBARDIER, EY, and Daimler Financial Services, demonstrating a strong expertise in project management and compliance. Babak holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Wirtschaftsingenieur from Technische Universität Berlin and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
