Chris Dorland

Chris Dorland is an experienced natural gas trader currently employed at Suncor since April 2024. Dorland holds a prominent leadership role as Chair of the Board of Directors at Providence, a preschool dedicated to children with disabilities, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors overseeing the Resource Development Committee. In addition, Dorland acts as an investor and strategic advisor for Zamplo, a connected health platform, and previously owned the Okotoks Town Square shopping center. With a robust background in natural gas trading that includes positions such as Managing Director at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets and RBC Capital Markets, and Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, Dorland's career spans notable firms including Enron and UBS Investment Bank. Dorland earned a Business HBA degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University from 1993 to 1997.
