Chirag Sampat

Chirag Sampat has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Chirag is currently serving as the Head of Treasury & Capital Markets at Zand, the first digital bank in the world to provide both retail and corporate banking services. Prior to that, Chirag worked as the Director - Global Markets at Emirates Investment Bank pjsc for four years.

Before joining Emirates Investment Bank pjsc, Chirag held the position of Chief Investment Officer at The Riva Group of Companies. Chirag also worked as the Finance Director at Emirates Investment Bank pjsc for four years.

Chirag's earlier career includes roles such as Head of Finance - Parks & Resorts at Tatweer, Vice President - Finance at ABN AMRO, Manager Finance at Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait, and MIS Officer - Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Bank.

Throughout their career, Chirag has gained expertise in various areas of finance and banking, and has demonstrated strong leadership skills in managing treasury and capital markets, global markets, investments, and finance departments.

Chirag Sampat obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai between 1995 and 2000. Chirag then pursued further education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a CA degree specializing in Accounts, Finance, Tax, Audit & Law.
