Samuel Nyaga

Samuel Nyaga has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology. Samuel started their career as a Web Developer at Ventilab Technologies, where they worked on various web applications and developed websites for clients. Samuel then joined Totohealth, a startup focused on maternal health, as a Software Developer. During their time there, they played a pivotal role in developing the Totohealth SMS platform and led the development and launch of the platform in Tanzania.

After that, Samuel worked as a Software Engineer at iBUILD Global, Inc, where they served as a software consultant and worked on USSD and SMS integration. Samuel also worked on payments integration for C2B on CBA and Mobile Money integration on the M-Pesa platform.

Samuel then joined Mobidev Kenya as a Software Developer, where they worked on developing scalable software applications and led the development team responsible for building a Premium Rate Service Providers Platform in Kenya.

Currently, Samuel is working at Zanifu Ltd as a Technical Lead. Samuel'sresponsibilities include building tech infrastructure for Zanifu platforms, experimenting with and adopting new technologies, and guiding team members through technical challenges.

Throughout their career, Samuel has demonstrated their ability to analyze and provide solutions to critical system issues, build scalable and highly available software products, and work on projects with international reach.

Samuel Nyaga completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of East London from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Samuel began their education at Kagumo High School, graduating with a High School degree from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Samuel also received certifications. In 2015, they earned the Application Security Analyst - Explorer Award for Students from IBM. Samuel also obtained an IBM cyber Security certification, although specific details such as the month and year are not provided.
