Hao Zhang

Hao Zhang is a Senior Seismologist at Zanskar Geothermal & Minerals, Inc., with extensive experience in seismology and geophysics. Previous roles include serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Utah, where significant contributions to the Utah Frontier Observatory for Research in Geothermal Energy (Utah FORGE) project were made, including creating statistical Bayesian packages and conducting real-time data analysis. During a previous tenure at the University of Utah and Northwestern University, involvement included seismic imaging of complex earthquake rupture processes and the development of novel methodologies for analyzing large seismic datasets. Hao Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics and Seismology from Peking University and has authored over 20 peer-reviewed papers, contributed to numerous conferences, and demonstrated strong leadership in managing research teams.
