Noah R.

Noah R. is a highly skilled computational scientist currently serving as Principal Computational Scientist at Zap Energy since February 2022. With a background in the U.S. Navy Reserve since December 2014, Noah has held roles as Science & Technology Officer and Commanding Officer, overseeing operational readiness for over thirty reservists. Previously, Noah was a Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where the focus was on adapting scientific applications for advanced GPU computing, and at Cray Inc. as a Manager and Performance Engineer. Noah’s academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Computational Science and Plasma Physics from the University of Washington, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's degree from the United States Naval Academy.
