Brian Dellabetta

Brian Dellabetta has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Brian is currently serving as the QML Software Lead at Zapata Computing, Inc. Since 2019, Brian has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University. Prior to that, they worked at Bank of America from 2018 to 2020, where they served as a Data Engineer and Data Scientist. Brian has also held the position of Chief Data Scientist at Learnmetrics from 2014 to 2018. Brian started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focusing on computational physics. Additionally, Brian has worked as a Software Engineering Intern at IBM, an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Iowa, and a Software Engineering Intern at Caterpillar Inc. Brian has also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Iowa Institute of Hydraulic Research.

Brian Dellabetta earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2008. Brian then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The Grainger College of Engineering, completing it in 2014.
