Nodar Janashia

Nodar Janashia has a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. Nodar began their career in 2007 as a Financial Services Intern at Ernst & Young, where they prepared analysis of accounts, maintained financial and budget reports, and prepared presentations for clients. In 2010, they joined BDO USA, LLP as a Tax Associate, where they prepared corporate and individual tax returns, attended training for up-to-date tax laws, and provided tax consulting for international clients. In 2012, they became a Financial Advisor at AXA Advisors. In 2013, they joined PlanGuru as Sales Director, where they continuously analyzed user feedback, documented required features and UX/UI changes, tracked financial, marketing and user engagement metrics, and coordinated and managed trade shows, educational webinars, and networking meetups. In 2015, they founded and became Operations Director of CountUp.io, a platform for businesses to find and work with a licensed accountant online. In 2019, they co-founded Zapper. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded DeFrag Finance.

Nodar Janashia's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from City, University of London in 2011, an Applied Accounting and Finance degree from Fordham University from 2008-2012, and a high school diploma from James Madison High School from 2004-2008. Additionally, Nodar has obtained certifications from IBM, NASAA, FINRA, and Life, Health, and Accident Insurance, obtained in 2017, 2013, 2012, and 2012 respectively.
