Brian Kimberlin

Brian Kimberlin has extensive experience in telecommunications engineering, with a career spanning over 25 years. Currently serving as Strategic Engineering Lead at Zayo Group since July 2018, Brian specializes in creating optical transport capacity solutions for wavelength services. Previous roles include Test Engineer at CenturyLink (formerly Level 3 Communications), where testing and certifying equipment for long-haul and metro WDM networks was essential. Earlier positions at Level 3 Communications encompassed a variety of engineering roles, including Metro Transport Engineer and Network Engineer, focusing on network analysis, project management, and testing procedures. Brian began the career as a Design Engineer at U.S. West and served as Lead Quality Assurance Technician at OEA Inc. Brian holds a BAS in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute.
