Erik Thomson

Erik Thomson has over ten years of experience in leadership roles. Erik is currently the SVP of Europe Sales at Zayo Group. Prior to their current position, Erik was with Goldman Sachs as an HCM Business Partner from April 2014 to July 2015. In this role, they were responsible for business partnering within the Technology and Finance divisions. Erik's previous experience also includes serving as an Assistant Operations Officer with the United States Marine Corps from March 2010 to April 2014. In this role, they supervised training and support plans for over 1,000 Marines, Sailors and civilians. Erik is a proven leader with a track record of success in various industries.

Erik Thomson has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Colorado State University, and certifications from the United States Marine Corps in Operational Stress Control and Readiness (OSCAR) Command Representative and from the Department of Defense in Top Secret Security Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Erik Thomson reports to Derek Gillespie, Chief Revenue Officer. They work with Nicholas Caruso - VP, Sales - Channel, Katie Curtis - VP, Global Technology Solutions & Vendor Management, and Patton Lochridge - SVP, Enterprise & Strategic Sales.
