Ricardo Davila

Ricardo Davila is the President at Zdaly. Ricardo was previously the Global Vice President of Supply Chain Management at McDermott International Inc. from December 2015 to April 2020. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of Petrocosm’s global supply chain digital platform as a service, including logistics, and Ariba solutions for international oil and gas operating companies. Ricardo directed multi-functional teams in developing effective materials management strategies and global supply chain solutions. Led implementation of Ariba systems, logistics, transportation management, contract management, vendor managed inventory and collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment (CPFR) solutions. Helmed implementation process to onboard leading major international oil and gas companies. Innovated on-ramp solutions to integrate ERP systems into global supply chain marketplace.

From January 2002 to May 2015, Davila was the Executive Global Director of Supply Chain Management and International at Valero Energy Corporation. In this role, they were responsible for optimizing the company’s supply chain network through the development and implementation of innovative processes and best practices. Ricardo also led the team that negotiated and managed relationships with key suppliers.

Prior to that, Davila was the Global Supply Chain Director at Petrocosm from December 2000 to April 2001. In this role, they were responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s supply chain strategy. Ricardo also oversaw the logistics, transportation, and procurement functions.

Davila began their career in 1992 as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Procurement Services at Integrated Trade Systems. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company’s supply chain and procurement operations. Ricardo also led the team that negotiated contracts with key suppliers.

Ricardo Davila has a General Management degree from the Texas McCombs School of Business, as well as an Institute for Managerial Leadership degree in Executive Business from the same school. Ricardo also holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In addition, Ricardo is certified by the IISCM-Institute for Integrated Supply Chain Management, APICS, and CSCP|CLTD|ASCM in Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM), and Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), respectively.
