Cheng-Wei Chou

Cheng-Wei Chou has been working in the software engineering industry since 2014. Cheng-Wei began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at National Dong Hwa University, where they researched artificial intelligence and computer games, especially in the field of computer Go. Cheng-Wei used C++ to write a computer Go program and beat professional Go players in 2013-2014. In 2015, Chou joined National Chung-Shan Institute of Science & Technology (NCSIST) as a Software Engineer, where they implemented and maintained 10+ microservices of distributed systems in Linux (using C++) and designed and implemented 3+ man-machine interface applications using C++ and Qt. Currently, Chou is a Sr. Software Engineer at Zealogics Inc.

Cheng-Wei Chou has obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from National Dong Hwa University between 2008 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Fu Jen Catholic University between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Chinese Language and Literature from National Dong Hwa University between 2001 and 2006. In November 2022, they obtained an EF SET English Certificate 68/100 (C1 Advanced) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET). In June 2022, they obtained Triplebyte Certified : EXPERT C++, ADVANCED Algorithms & Data Structures, and ADVANCED General Coding Logic from Triplebyte.
