Battery Modeling Engineer at Zeleros

Jose Antonio Pérez Balastegui has held a variety of positions in the engineering field. In 2019, they worked as a Colaborador in a StartUp at IFLUR, where they were responsible for the design and validation of electronic equipment in the field of R&D for the creation of the MVP. In 2021, they were an Investigador I+D+I (Junior) and an Ingeniero de simulaciones at Instituto Tecnológico de la Energía, ITE. Jose Antonio also held the role of Ingeniero de simulaciones at Instituto de Tecnología Eléctrica (UPV), where they studied the distribution of electric fields in insulating materials both in permanent and transient regimes, using COMSOL Multiphysics. In 2022, they began working as a Battery Modeling Engineer at Zeleros Hyperloop.

Jose Antonio Pérez Balastegui obtained a Grado en ingenieria electrica from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2021. Jose Antonio then pursued a Máster en investigación matemática from the same institution from 2021 to 2022, with a focus on Matemática aplicada. In December 2021, they obtained a certification in Módulo de pilas de combustible y electrolizadores con COMSOL Multiphysics from Addlink Software Científico, S.L.
