Dr Anusha Pokuri

Dr Anusha Pokuri Ph.D. has extensive work experience in data science and technology. Dr Anusha is currently serving as the Sr Director of Data Science at Zelis since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Florida Blue from October 2018 to August 2023 where they held positions including Sr Manager of Data Science and Technology and Sr Data Scientist. At Florida Blue, they led a team in evaluating case management and disease management programs, developed predictive models, and conducted population-based data analysis. Before that, they worked as a Consultant in Health Care Data Analytics at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida from September 2009 to September 2018, where they performed similar responsibilities. Dr Anusha began their career with an internship and research associate role at Clemson University from December 2005 to July 2009.

Dr Anusha Pokuri Ph.D. earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Applied Economics from Clemson University in the years 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Agricultural Economics and a Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University.
