Rachel See has worked for a variety of companies since 2010. Rachel began their career as a Summer Intern at Texas A&M University at Galveston, where they conducted research on Sea Otter foraging physiology and activity budgets. In 2011, they worked as a Tutor at the same university, tutoring formal logic to other students and running group tutor sessions. In 2013, they worked as a Biological Survey Technician for the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, conducting surveys for protected marine species before oil platform removal. Rachel also worked as a Temporary GIS Specialist for The Response Group, where they acted as a consultant on behalf of the company and compiled maps using data from multiple sources. In 2017, Rachel See worked as a GIS Technician at Apple via Apex, where they analyzed, validated and enhanced data content and assembled new content for consumer applications. Finally, from 2018 onwards, they have been working as a Senior QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, and Junior Software Test Engineer for Zello.
Rachel See obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus in 2013. Rachel then went on to obtain a GIS Technician Certificate from Lone Star College in June 2015. In 2016, Rachel See began pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) in Geographic Information Systems at Sam Houston State University and completed their degree in 2018.
