Alie Buckmire, Ph.D., is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at ZelosDx since April 2023. Previously, Alie completed PhD research in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona from August 2010 to May 2019, focusing on developing a neuroprosthetic for restoring movement in paralyzed limbs, with expertise in engineering, machine learning, and systems physiology, as well as experience with non-human primate research models and neurosurgical techniques. Prior to doctoral studies, Alie served as the Director of Implementation of Laboratory Services at McKesson from April 2005 to August 2009, where responsibilities included overseeing the deployment of Horizon Laboratory products across multiple healthcare sites, managing a cross-functional team, and driving business development to exceed revenue goals. Alie holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neuroscience, a Master of Science - MS in Physiological Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, all from the University of Arizona.
