Blaz Mramor

Blaz Mramor has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Blaz is currently working as a Data Scientist at Zemanta, an Outbrain company since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Allianz Technology as a Senior Data Scientist from March 2019 to March 2021. Blaz has also worked as a Software Developer at SEI Swiss Engineering Institute AG from January 2018 to February 2019. Blaz Mramor has academic experience as well, serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Primorska Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies from September 2013 to September 2017. Blaz also worked as a postdoc at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau from April 2013 to July 2017.

Blaz Mramor has a strong educational background in mathematics. Blaz completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics at the University of Tübingen from 2004 to 2006. Blaz then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics at the University of Amsterdam from 2006 to 2008. Blaz further went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), which they obtained from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Blaz Mramor has also obtained various certifications. In 2017, they completed several courses on Coursera, including "Machine Learning," "Java Programming and Software Engineering Fundamentals Specialization," "Java Programming: Arrays, Lists, and Structured Data," "Java Programming: Build a Recommendation System," "Java Programming: Principles of Software Design," "Java Programming: Solving Problems with Software," and "Programming Foundations with JavaScript, HTML and CSS." These certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying current and expanding their knowledge in related fields.
