James Aichinger has had a varied career in software engineering. From 2011 to 2018 they worked for the Australian Government Department of Finance, first as a Web Developer and then as a Network Engineer/Scripting, designing and maintaining small enterprise networks and maintaining a nationwide video/phone network using Cisco Call Manager. In 2016, they were Lead Developer at CoachLive, designing and building a web platform to ingest and stream live IoT data to web clients using Node.js and WebSockets. From 2017 to 2018 they were a Software Engineer at Lorica Health and from 2018 to 2019 they were a Software Engineer at KPMG Australia. Currently, they are Head of Engineering at Zemble.
James Aichinger completed a Diploma of IT in Networking from the Canberra Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2013. James then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from The Australian National University, which they completed in 2017.
