Temesgen Janbo

Temesgen Janbo has work experience in various roles in the cybersecurity field. Temesgen started in 2017 as a Trainee and later worked as a Network and System Security Evaluator and Auditor at the Information Network Security Agency. In 2022, they joined Gebeya Inc. as a Cyber Security Engineer. In 2023, Temesgen worked at Zemen Bank S.C. as a Senior Cybersecurity Officer. Temesgen also had a brief tenure at Enat Bank as a Senior IT Risk Management Officer.

Temesgen Janbo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Adama Science and Technology University. In terms of additional certifications, Temesgen is a Certified Ethical Hacker (Master) and has also achieved the Certified Ethical Hacker (Practical) certification from EC-Council in January 2023. In addition, Temesgen obtained the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 3: Certified Associate certification from Fortinet in January 2022. Temesgen also holds certifications from Picus Security, including The Absolute Beginners Guide to MITRE ATT&CK and The Beginner's Guide to Endpoint Detection and Response in 2022. Moreover, Temesgen obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in December 2021 and the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate certification in October 2021.
