Carlos Escamilla

Carlos Escamilla is a seasoned technical architect with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as a Principal Technical Architect at Zendesk since August 2019, Carlos focuses on guiding sales discussions, finalizing technical requirements, and overseeing the development of custom implementations. Previously, Carlos held various roles at Ooyala, including Senior Technical Architect and Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included solution specification, team guidance, and customer requirement gathering. Earlier in the career, Carlos worked as a Software Engineer at HCL Technologies, Softtek, and InnXware, contributing to the development and maintenance of web applications and automation testing. Carlos holds a Master’s Degree in High Performance Computing from Universidad de Guadalajara and a degree in Information Technology from Universidad Tecnologia de Leon.
