Computer Vision Engineer at Zenseact

Domenic Geiseler is a Computer Vision Engineer at Zenseact since August 2022, focusing on static and dynamic sensor calibration for both test and production vehicles, and currently working on road freespace segmentation utilizing LiDAR and cameras. Prior experience includes a master thesis at REVERE, where research centered on state-of-the-art LiDAR sensors and the development of a loop-closing SLAM algorithm for marine vehicles. As a self-employed Embedded Software Developer, support was provided for a project at ingeneers CaR GmbH, where Domenic worked previously as an Embedded Systems Engineer on an instrument cluster for a sports car. Additional roles included a Teaching Assistant position at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm and a Mechanical Engineering internship at Abraham GmbH. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's in Machine Learning from the University of Gothenburg, complemented by studies at Chalmers University and Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm in Automotive Engineering.
