Tamires Lowande

Tamires Lowande has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent position was as a Software Developer at Zensurance, where they started in April 2021 as a Junior Software Developer before assuming their current role in March 2022.

Prior to Zensurance, Tamires worked at EQ Works as a Software Developer from August 2020 to April 2021. Tamires also held a Software Developer Internship position at the company from February 2020 to August 2020.

Before transitioning into the tech industry, Tamires gained experience in art conservation and restoration. Tamires worked as a Paintings Conservator Assistant at Art-Kitect Conservation Inc. from October 2018 to September 2019. Prior to that, they were a Restorer at Instituto Cultural Inhotim from October 2016 to January 2017, and an Intern Restorer at Conservação e Restauração de Obras de Arte - Silvio Luiz R. V. de Oliveira in July and August 2013.

Tamires also has experience in customer service and administration. Tamires worked as a Travel Agent at TourRadar from August 2018 to March 2019, and as a Customer Service Specialist at Booking.com from July 2017 to August 2018. Tamires also had a brief stint as a Customer Service Representative at Money Mart Financial Services in May and June 2017. Additionally, Tamires worked as an Administrative Assistant at Integrar from June 2015 to September 2016.

In 2013, Tamires gained valuable experience as an Intern Conservator at Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de Minas Gerais. In this role, they worked on packaging and cleaning rare books and documentation, assisted in exhibition assembly, and executed graphic design diagrams for historical research purposes using CorelDRAW.

Tamires Lowande has a diverse education history. In 2019, they attended Lighthouse Labs and completed a bootcamp in web development. Prior to that, in 2017, they participated in a workshop at the Canadian Conservation Institute, focusing on decision making and treatment practices for iron gall ink in paper conservation. From 2010 to 2014, Tamires pursued a Bachelor's degree in Conservation and Restoration of Movable Cultural Goods at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, with a specialization in Fine Arts. In 2012 and 2013, they studied History and Archaeology at the University of Évora. Finally, from 2007 to 2009, they obtained a Technician degree in buildings from the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais.
