Mike Ichiriu

Mike Ichiriu has worked in the technology industry since 1999. Mike began their career at NetLogic Microsystems as the Vice President of Systems and Applications Engineering. During this role, they were responsible for pre-sales solution selling, technical support during design, post-sales failure analysis/issue resolution and customer escalation management. Mike also led product management for engagement with Cisco which ramped to $100M in revenue, enabling NetLogic to go public. After NetLogic, Mike moved on to Broadcom Limited as the Director of Product Applications. In 2012, Mike started their own consulting firm, Michael Ichiriu Consulting, where they provided technology marketing and product management/development services to high-tech startup clients. Mike then joined Avast Software as the Senior Director of Product and was responsible for general management for a group while driving business development/marketing, developing product/market fit, and helping the organization secure lighthouse accounts and grow sales. Mike is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Product at Zentera Systems, Inc., where they are working to address real-world security friction created by increasingly complex networks. Mike is also responsible for the core team defining the architecture and features for Zentera's revolutionary Zero Trust security solutions, as well as product and worldwide corporate marketing.

Mike Ichiriu attended Iolani School from 1986 to 1991. Mike then attended Caltech from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a BS in EE. Mike returned to Caltech from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a BS in Biology. Mike also obtained a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)² in September 2021.
