Marcelo Amaral

Marcelo Amaral has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Marcelo currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at ZENVIA since May 2022. Prior to this, Marcelo worked at CI&T from March 2021 to April 2022 as a Software Engineer. During their time at CI&T, they contributed to the construction of API's for the Pix technology in the Saque/Troco modalities and worked on the refactoring and improvement of a set of settlement systems for a prominent player in the Brazilian payment market. Marcelo also participated in the construction of API's for the second phase of Open Finance (Open bank), for a major player in the Brazilian financial market.

Before joining CI&T, Marcelo worked at Interativa Soluções as an Analyst Java from February 2017 to February 2021. Marcelo'sresponsibilities included analysis, development, training, support, and implementation for projects such as the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). Marcelo's proficiency in Java was the primary technology used during this period.

Marcelo began their career as a Java Programmer at VH Soluções em Software from June 2013 to June 2016. Marcelo worked on fixed and temporary assignments, including projects related to document management, human resources, and warehouse management integrated solutions.

Marcelo Amaral's education history includes a specialization in Software Engineering and Architecture from Estácio, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they were a graduate from the Instituto de Estudos Superiores da Amazônia - IESAM, where they studied Computer Engineering from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Marcelo Amaral has obtained several certifications. Marcelo completed courses such as "Clean Architecture: Patterns, Practices, and Principles" and "SOLID Software Design Principles in Java" from Pluralsight in November 2021.
