Elizabeth Hourani

Elizabeth Hourani has held various positions in the public health and medical fields. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Regional Partnership Manager at Zenysis Technologies. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Senior Program Officer for USAID's MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience, a Program Officer for USAID's Maternal and Child Survival Program, and a Program Coordinator for USAID's Maternal and Child Survival Program at JSI | John Snow, Inc. In 2016, they worked as a Medical Assistant at Washington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Community Health and Malaria Prevention Worker at the Peace Corps. In 2013, they were an Editorial Researcher at AISHealth. In 2012, they were a Government Relations Intern at the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Returned Volunteer Services Federal Work Study Student and a Research Assistant for Professor Richard Skolnik at The Peace Corps.

Elizabeth Hourani attended The George Washington University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Health. Elizabeth then pursued a Master of Applied Science (MAS) in Global Health Planning and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from 2019 to 2022.
