Edward Tsang has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Edward started their career at H.J. Heinz of Canada Ltd in 1980 as the Department Head of Facilities Planning. Edward was responsible for designing and evaluating capital appropriations and managing projects. In 1986, they joined Heinz-UFE Ltd as the Director and General Manager, eventually becoming the CEO. Edward then moved on to become the General Manager of Engineering and Productivity at Heinz Bakery Products for two years. In 1994, they co-founded TriTec Power Systems Ltd, where they served as the President, raising funding and developing prototypes for a gas-powered motor. In 2002, they founded Zephyr Alternative Power Inc., a wind turbine technology company, where they currently hold the positions of President and CEO. Edward is involved in engineering, research, and business development efforts, partnering with universities in Ontario and developing IP strategies.
Edward Tsang attended the University of Windsor from 1972 to 1976, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering (BASc, P.Eng.). Following this, they continued their education at the same university from 1977 to 1984 and obtained a B.Comm. degree in Business Administration.
