Madadh MacLaine

Madadh MacLaine is an accomplished leader in the maritime and environmental sectors, currently serving as Secretary General of the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association since March 2019 and CEO of Zero Emissions Maritime Technology since November 2018. With responsibility for strategic development and risk management at ZEM-Tech, Madadh also plays a vital role in advising the maritime industry on zero-emission technologies. Additionally, Madadh has been a Director at Fair Winds Trust since January 2013, focusing on economic inequality, biodiversity, and climate change. As a founding member of the International WindShips Association and with extensive experience as a CEO and Business Development Manager, Madadh has demonstrated a long-term commitment to sustainable and ethical practices in maritime trade and technology. Prior roles include Communications Coordinator for Denavigatio - Resaue Econav and involvement in experimental maritime archaeology from 1999 to 2002, highlighting a diverse professional background dedicated to environmental sustainability and innovation.
