Fernando Velicka

Fernando Velicka has extensive work experience in the finance and digital payments industry. Fernando is currently the Head of Growth Latam at Zero Hash and a member of the Advisory Board at GoBlockchain. Previously, they served as the Global Head of Business Operations at PayJoy and the Country Manager at Adelantos. Prior to that, Fernando held various roles at RecargaPay, including Digital Payments VP and Digital Payments Director. Fernando also worked at MercadoPago.com, Société Générale, Cetelem, Xerox, and Ticket Serviços S.A.

Fernando Velicka earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Management and Economic Business from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2018. Fernando also received a brief certification in Innovations in Electronic Payments and Business in the Digital Era from the same institution in 2017. Prior to this, they completed an MBA in Compliance and Banking from FACULDADE FIPECAFI - Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Contábeis, Atuariais e Financeiras in 2011. In 2005, they studied English Language and Literature at the Emerald Cultural Institute, and in 2003 they graduated with a degree in Business Management from Pós Graduação - Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz.
