Sarah Michelle Smith

Sarah Michelle Smith is a dedicated legal and social work professional currently serving as a Student Member of the Cannabis, Drugs and the Law Committee at the New York City Bar Association, and as a Legal Extern for the Office of the New York State Attorney General. Additionally, Sarah holds positions as a Board Member for NY-603 Continuum of Care, Co-President of Student Government at City University of New York School of Law, and Executive Board Member for Zero Overdose. With experience as a Summer Associate at New York State Homes & Community Renewal and a Legislative Aide at Suffolk County Legislature, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge in public service and advocacy. Sarah earned a Doctor of Law from City University of New York School of Law and holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Stony Brook University, along with an Associate of Science degree from Suffolk County Community College.
