John Vogel

John Vogel has an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. John currently serves as the Head of LTPEM Product Development at ZeroAvia since 2023. Previously, they worked as the Chief Engineer - HTPEM at ZeroAvia from 2022 to 2023. Prior to ZeroAvia, they were the Managing Member and Founder of Combined Energies LLC since 2010. John co-founded HyPoint in 2020 and served as the Co-Founder, Chief Engineer, and TPM until 2022. Before that, they worked as the Chief Executive Officer at Tire Conversion Technologies Inc. (TCT) from 2016 to 2022. John also held the position of VP Technology Development at GE from 2011 to 2016. Their earliest role was as the Director of Product Development at Plug Power from 2000 to 2011, where they directed the engineering development organization and was responsible for the development and marketing of proton exchange membrane fuel cell products. Throughout their career, John Vogel has demonstrated expertise in product development, engineering, and management in the energy industry.

John Vogel attended Auburn University but did not complete a degree. John also attended the United States Military Academy at West Point but did not complete a degree there either.
