Johnny Livesay is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in operations, sourcing, and advocacy within the restaurant industry. Currently serving as a Senior Culinary Partnership Sourcing Specialist at Zerocater since May 2022 and as a Board Member at Black Star Co-op Pub and Brewery since January 2024, Johnny is focused on restructuring leadership and supporting co-op initiatives. With a long-standing commitment to labor advocacy through RAISE since 2013, Johnny has worked collaboratively with over 200 progressive restaurants to champion labor policies. Previous roles include Director of Operations and Partner at Present Tense Hospitality, Culinary Director at Salt & Time Butcher Shop, and managing various leadership positions at Edgewise Hospitality and Black Star. Johnny holds a degree from Austin Community College, completed between 1999 and 2002.
