Marcho Markov

Marcho Markov has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Marcho began their career at MM Solutions JSC as a Software Engineer, where they developed camera drivers and algorithms for cell phone vendors. Marcho then worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen - DIKU. Marcho then joined Biomediq A/S as a Software Engineer, where they focused on machine learning and image processing for medical devices. Marcho later joined Danske Bank as a Software Engineer, specializing in eBusiness security and advanced analytics & architecture. Marcho then transitioned to Novo Nordisk, where they served as a Senior Software Developer and Tech Lead, working on software development for drug discovery and clinical trials. Currently, Marcho is at ZeroNorth, where they have held various roles including Tech Lead, Director of Engineering, and VP of Advanced Technologies. In these positions, they have been responsible for leading teams, building machine learning models, and setting business strategies. Overall, Marcho Markov has gained extensive experience in software engineering, machine learning, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Marcho Markov holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen, which they obtained in the years 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering Technologies at Shawnee State University from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Marcho Markov has obtained certifications such as Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2020 and a Certified Encryption Specialist (ECES) from EC-Council in 2017.
