Soren Christian Meyer

Soren Christian Meyer is the current CEO at ZeroNorth. Soren has also served on the board of directors for CargoMetrics Technologies LLC from August 2017 to May 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer, Digital Business, for Maersk Tankers from January 2015 to May 2020. In this role, they focused on optimizing earnings and lowering CO2 emissions for the wider tramp shipping Industry. The core product of SimBunker, a software solution helping the operators to ensure the vessels are sailing the more efficient route with the optimal speed at any weather conditions while taking bunkers at port giving the lowest total cost of ownership, was developed during their tenure. From November 2005 to November 2014, Soren served as Vice President for O.W. Bunker & Trading A/S, where they were responsible for physical bunker activities in Nordic, Mediterranean, Middle East and AsiaPasific regions. Soren began their career in 1993 as a Sales Manager for Hydro Texaco and held this position until 2006.

Soren Christian Meyer attended Trier High School before studying Afsætning (Marketing) at Aarhus School of Business, where they completed a HD. Soren then went on to complete a Type: HH in Business at Aarhus School of Business.
