Ezhilmalar Jayabalan has a strong background in data science and analytics, with experience in various roles at different companies. Prior to that, they worked at Flipkart - A Walmart ECommerce Company, where they held multiple roles including Applied Scientist, Predictive Analytics in Business Strategy from February 2022 to November 2022, Analytics Lead (Customer Support) from March 2020 to January 2022, and Lead Business Analyst (Supply Chain) from March 2018 to February 2020. Before joining Flipkart, Ezhilmalar worked at American Express as an Assistant Manager, Machine Learning and Data Science from May 2016 to February 2018, and as a Business Analyst, Credit risk modelling from April 2014 to May 2016.

Ezhilmalar Jayabalan pursued their education in a chronological order. Ezhilmalar began their academic journey in 2007 and completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology in 2011.

Later, in 2012, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a specialization in Business Analytics in 2014. After gaining some professional experience, they decided to further their education.

In 2019, Ezhilmalar Jayabalan joined Annamalai University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Psychology in 2021. This illustrates their interest in exploring the field of psychology and expanding their knowledge beyond their previous focus on computer science and business analytics.
