Nicholas Osborne

Nicholas Osborne has extensive work experience in the field of data science and consulting. Nicholas is currently employed at ZestyAI as a Senior Data Scientist. Prior to this, they worked at OPTA Information Intelligence, where they held the positions of Lead Data Scientist from April 2019 to the present and Senior Data Scientist from August 2018 to April 2019. Before joining OPTA, Nicholas worked at True North Partners LLP as a Senior Consultant from January 2016 to May 2018, and as a Consultant from August 2015 to January 2016. Nicholas'searlier experience includes working as a Business Analyst at Edcon from November 2012 to July 2015, and as a Quantitative Analyst at Nedbank from March 2010 to November 2012, where they focused on developing and validating credit risk models.

Nicholas Osborne completed their high school education at Thomas More College from 2001 to 2005. Nicholas obtained an IEB degree with a focus on English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Physical Science, Accounting, Biology, and Additional Mathematics during this time.

Following their secondary education, Nicholas attended Rhodes University from 2006 to 2009. Here, they pursued a BBusSc(Hons) degree in Economics and Mathematics.

Additionally, Nicholas pursued several certifications to enhance their skills. In July 2011, they obtained the CFA level 1 certification from the CFA Institute. Later, in January 2021, they completed the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera. Lastly, in January 2022, they acquired a Machine Learning DevOps Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity.
