Balamurugan Krishnamoorthy

Balamurugan Krishnamoorthy has extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer II at Zeta Suite since October 2021. Previously, at Arcesium, they held multiple positions from 2015 to 2021, including Senior Principal Engineer, Principal Engineer, and Project Leader. At Arcesium, they contributed to various projects such as creating architecture and prototype for a finance tool, migrating platform applications to the cloud, and overseeing multiple projects' architecture, design, implementation, delivery, and operations. Prior to Arcesium, they worked at D. E. Shaw India Private Limited as a Project Leader and Senior Member Technical, where they modernized treasury legacy applications, designed and implemented real-time processing systems, and developed financial models. Their role also involved building algorithms, implementing data extractors, and working with tools and technologies such as Perl, Java, Spring, MATLAB, and Sybase.

Balamurugan Krishnamoorthy's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, obtained in 2010-2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with elective courses from Computer Science topics at Coimbatore Institute of Technology from 2003-2007.
