Reto Steiner

Reto Steiner is the current Head of Academic Affairs at ZHAW. Prior to this, they were a Visiting Professor at Università di Roma Tor Vergata from March 2020 to September 2020. Before that, they were the Managing Director at Swiss Institute for Public Management from September 2016 to August 2017. Reto has also been a Professor for Strategic Management in the Public Sector at Free University of Bozen - Bolzano from February 2016 to February 2018. Reto Steiner's other notable positions include Vice President of the University Board at Berner Fachhochschule BFH from January 2016 to August 2017 and President of the Supervisory Board at NMS Bern. Reto is also a Member of the Council of Administration at IIAS-IISA from June 2013 to June 2022.

Reto Steiner has a PhD in Business Administration and Management from the University of Berne, and an MBA in Wirtschaftswissenschaften also from the University of Berne.

Reto Steiner reports to Silvia Steiner, President. They work with Urs Hilber - Head of Research and Development, Elena Wilhelm - Head of Higher Education Development, and Sabina Kasper Lehne - Head of Legal Services.
