Charlotte Leo has a diverse work experience in the events and meetings industry. Charlotte started their career as a Sales Executive at Cadbury Trebor Bassett in 2004. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Account Coordinator at WorldEvents Ltd. Charlotte then joined Universal WorldEvents and held the roles of Account Executive and later, Account Manager, overseeing a team of meeting planners and managing various pharmaceutical meetings and events. In 2012, Charlotte worked as a Freelance Senior Project Planner/Event Manager before joining Grass Roots Meetings & Events Inc. where they took on multiple roles including Project Manager, Operations Director - Event Planning, and Sales & Commercial Director. In 2015, they became the Director of Sales Enablement at Grass Roots Meetings and Events and subsequently moved to BCD Meetings & Events as the Director of Meetings Management Solution Design in 2018.
Charlotte Leo completed their BA Hons in History at the University of Leeds from 2001 to 2004. Charlotte then pursued their MSc in Event Management at Leeds Beckett University from 2005 to 2006.
