Thomas Bakker

Thomas Bakker is an experienced professional in finance and management consulting, currently serving as the Manager of Planning & Control at Ziekenhuis Amstelland since June 2019. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Business Controller at VUmc from September 2015 to May 2019 and worked at KPMG Management Consulting as a Manager from October 2012 to September 2015. Thomas began at KPMG Advisory as an Advisor from 2008 to 2012 and has extensive experience in advising financial institutions on various processes, including a recent benchmark study for a large international Dutch bank. Earlier in the career, Thomas worked as an Accountant at KPMG from February 2005 to May 2008. Thomas holds an Executive Master Finance & Control from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed in 2015, and a Master's degree in International Business with a focus on Finance from Tilburg University, obtained in 2005.
