Erik Melander is an accomplished product management leader with extensive experience in developing and executing product strategies across various industries. Currently serving as Director of Product Management - Rentals at Zillow since February 2019, Erik leads a high-performing team focused on the Zillow Rental Manager platform, enhancing landlord and property manager capabilities. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Principal Product Manager for rentals at Zillow, Director of Product Management at Happy Money, and Founder & CEO of BerryCart. Erik's background also includes a significant tenure at Overnight Prints as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Business Development, as well as various roles at Motorola, where contributions encompassed product management, software architecture, and engineering. Erik holds an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
