Gabriel Monti

Gabriel Monti has a comprehensive work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Gabriel is currently working as the Commercial Director for the Caribbean, Central, and WCSA regions at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services. Prior to this, they served as the Director of North America Transpacific Trade at the same company from 2020 to 2023. Gabriel also held the position of Manager Latam Trade - Air & Sea Americas at Panalpina from 2019 to 2020. Gabriel's earlier experience includes being the Director of Business Development at DHL Supply Chain from 2016 to 2018. Gabriel has also worked in various roles at Hamburg Süd, including Director of Commercial & Trade, Director of Perishables, Country Managing Director, Manager of Americas Trade Lane Management, Deputy - Country General Manager, and Head of Sales and Customer Care Operations from 1996 to 2015.

Gabriel Monti obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations from the University Institute of Marketing in 1998. Prior to that, they also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Sales and Marketing from the same institution in 1997. In 1994, Gabriel obtained a Diploma in International Trade from Universidad de Carabobo. Gabriel has also acquired additional certifications including Good Distribution Practices (GDP) from Panalpina in 2019, Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt from GoLeanSixSigma.com in 2018, SAP01 - SAP Complete Overview from SAP in 2015, and QOS Process Implementation and Improvement from Omnex Inc in 2002.
