Manuel Lang

Manuel Lang currently serves as the Head of Operations at F. Zimmermann GmbH since December 2016, focusing on continuous process improvement following Lean principles to reduce manufacturing costs, enhance quality, and ensure high delivery capability. Responsibilities include planning and managing customer orders, leading a team of approximately 40 employees in preparation, mechanical, and electrical assembly, and implementing key performance indicators to increase transparency. Previously, Manuel Lang held the position of Project Manager, coordinating new machine projects from order entry to final acceptance, and managing technical specifications with suppliers. Earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Student Intern and Student Intern at Porsche, where responsibilities involved preparing qualification documents and conducting technical analyses in engine assembly. Manuel Lang holds a Master of Business Administration in Management and Production from Nürtingen-Geislingen University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Hochschule Esslingen.
