Praveen Kumar

Praveen Kumar is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership across various industries. Currently serving as the VP and Head of Engineering at Lennar since August 2022, Praveen oversees a team of 120 and leads the technical strategy for software, data, AI, and cloud platforms. Previously, as SVP and Global Head of Engineering at ZIMPERIUM, Praveen managed real-time telemetry data ingestion and cybersecurity insights. At Charles Schwab, Praveen, as Managing Director of Data Engineering, developed award-winning AI and data solutions. Earlier roles include Director of Data and AI Engineering at Capital One and Divisional Head of Engineering at American Airlines, where notable achievements included enhancing revenue through AI and data innovations. Praveen's career began at US Airways as a Data Scientist, followed by a managerial role at Sabre Corporation. Praveen holds a Master’s degree in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
